The celebration began with reading verses from the Holy Quran and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq. And then it included the presentation of many poems and religious stanzas [Muwashshahat], in which the poets expressed the extent of love and attachment to the Prophet and his holy family (Allah's prayers be upon them) and also the love of the lovers and followers to their master the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) promising to follow his path and strive to revive the memory of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in order to please the heart of their Imam; the Master of Order and the Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).
It is noteworthy that the media unit in the department of the square between the two holy shrines has been accustomed to the establishment of this festival annually, in addition to other festivals on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversaries of the Prophet and the imams and the festival of Eid al-Ghadir, in order to revive religious rituals because of the great moral impact in the hearts of believers.
