Iraqi engineers syndicate: Projects adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine are a source of pride for the Iraqi engineer.

The Iraqi Engineers Syndicate in Karbala, held in coordination with the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, a seminar entitled "The Rights of the Iraqi Engineer." This seminar aims to develop the engineers’ capabilities and to exchange experiences between the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, in order to develop the engineering field in the country.

The seminar was attended by heads of branches from eight governorates: Basrah, Maysan, Muthanna, Qadisiyah, Babel, Wasit, Salahuddin and Diyala and representatives from the general syndicate center.

The symposium discussed the conditions of engineers and the most important demands that will be submitted to the government and the concerned parties, in addition to preparing for the establishment of an event in which the rights of engineers will be demanded commensurate with the aspirations of the engineering community in Iraq.

After that, the delegation of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate was accompanied by the heads of the branches in a tour to be briefed about a number of engineering projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, where they listened to a brief explanation about each of the projects and their technical or other questions were answered. At the end of this tour, the visiting delegation expressed its great admiration for the projects which are characterized by the good management, organization and implementation, stressing that the projects adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is a source of pride for the Iraqi engineer.
