The Holy Shrine of Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon both of them) commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).

Once again, the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) renew their condolences, standing in front of holy shrine of their oppressed poisoned Imam; Imam Musa Ibn Ja'far al-Kadhem (peace be upon him), recalling the oppression he was subjected to by the tyrants of Abbasid caliphate, who used the utmost barbaric methods to oppress him in the bottom of their darkest prisons.

A ceremony for replacing the flags of the domes of Holy Shrine in Kadhemiyah by two black flags, was held on Friday evening the 21st of Rajab 1440 AH, corresponding to March 29, 2019, amid solemn decrees in the presence of the General Secretary of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon both of them); Dr. Jamal Abd al-Rasool al-Dabbagh, the members of its board of directors, the representative of the supreme religious authority; Sheikh Husein Aal Yaseen, and a number of Sheikhs and scholars, as well as representatives of the holy shrines and official figures in addition to the visitors.

The ceremony began by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader of the holy shrine; Dr. Rafe' al-'Ameri, followed by the participation of the processions of the Kadhemiyah city consisting of commemorative decrees bearing flags of allegiance on this sad anniversary. This was followed by the word of the holy shrine of Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon both of them), delivered by its General Secretary.

Then the representative of the Supreme religious authority in Kadhemiya city, delivered the word about the preaching project in the Hawza, and which he started by extending the condolences to Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon both of them) and Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) on behalf of the fighters stations in the battlefields as well as on behalf of the martyrs and wounded families.

Then the ceremony of replacing the flags of the two holy domes started solemnly to black flags.

The ceremony included listening to an audio of the Sheikh Sa'eed al-Ma'ateeq, then the Radood Amar al-Kinani concluded the ceremony by chanting sad poems and elegies in which he extended his condolences to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).
