Continuous work to build the internal sections of the al-'Ameed University of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

The engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine resumed the work of the second stage of the construction of the internal departments of the al-'Ameed University, which started since December 2018. The first and second floors were completed, and the work on building the third and fourth floors is resumed.

Engineer Alaa Hussain from the engineering maintenance department stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "We started work in this building in several stages, starting by erecting the steel structure pillars, which are iron molds manufactured in the engineering maintenance workshops of raw materials. Then these pillars were covered with block material, and then was equipped with electrical and communication systems."

He added: "Each floor of this building has kitchens and an electric elevator, and contains (32) rooms built in modern style, in addition to the presence of bathrooms on each floor. In addition to that each floor is equipped with electricity and modern communications in the new style."

He continued: "The work period allocated to each floor is three months with continuous performance up to 24 hours per day. Noting that all the divisions of the Department of Engineering Maintenance, has participated in this project, especially the External Facilities Division."

It is worth mentioning that the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has a great role in the establishment and maintenance of many of the facilities of the Holy Shrine, because it has a comprehensive integrated staff with accumulated experience in all construction works and in all fields and disciplines.
