The course aims to provide participants with many skills in how to deal with children who have a problem with pulse or breathing immediately after birth, and to be able to perform the necessary immediate procedures used by workers in the delivery and preterm births sections in such cases.
The Executive Director of the Academy, Mr. Mortadha Al-Ghalibi, spoke to the Al-Kafeel Network about this course, saying: "Many children when they are born have trouble breathing and pulse, so the Academy decided to hold a specialized course for a number of medical staff working at the Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, within the international program of NRP for the cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation of newborns ".
He added: "Through this course, we seek to contribute to the development of emergency skills through which the worker in the delivery and preterm delivery rooms can save the newborns by addressing the heart and lung problems of the baby through theoretical lectures and practical training. And we hope that there will be an opportunity to open up to the rest of the hospitals in the future to teach such important programs. "
