The Wafa Humanitarian aid campaign in Samawah.

On Saturday 29th of Rajab 1440 AH corresponding to April 6, 2019, the Wafa Humanitarian aid campaign arrived at Samawah in the Muthanna province. The campaign consists of a convoy of over 350 vehicles to help the families of the martyrs of the popular mobilization and the security forces, the wounded of the battle of the sacred defense, the orphans and the needy families. The convoy includes food, medicine and various life requirements as well as some financial assistance. The three-day campaign will also include logistical and engineering support for the province as needed now.

This campaign is part of a series of previous campaign to a number of provinces, which is sponsored by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and executed by the leadership of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting Squad brigade 26 of the popular mobilization, through the logistic support processions, relief and support units in 13 provinces, the central Wafa campaign, representations of the al-Abbas's (p) Squad, organizations of the civil society supporting out humanitarian activities, and others, in coordination with the local government in al-Muthanna province, the agents of the supreme religious authority in Najaf, Relief and support unit in Samawah, representation of the al-Abbas's (p) Squad in Samawah, and the rest of the charitable foundations and the organizations of the civil society.
