The Library and House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participates in the annual celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Manuscript.

In response to the invitation from the Islamic University in Najaf, the Library and House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participated in the annual celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Manuscript, organized by the University in coordination with the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts in Cairo.
The library was represented by a delegation led by the director of the Manuscript Imaging Center, Mr. Salah Mahdi Abdel Wahab, who spoke to us about this participation, saying: "It is beautiful to see who cares and revives the heritage of this ancient nation, which was preserved and archived by thousands of manuscripts. And in order to shed light on this heritage, we participated in this celebration, which included several parts, all of which focused on uniting efforts and doing more work in order to highlight the stored manuscripts of Iraq and the Arab world. We also had meetings on the sidelines of this event with some important specialized figures in the field of manuscripts, in order to introduce the experience of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the preservation of the manuscript."
