For the first time in the international exhibitions in Iraq, Karbala International Book Fair provided the service "Ask for your book" to be an easy guide for the visitors of the fair, who are looking for a particular book published by a house of institution participating in the fair.
The database was designed to include all the books published by the 140 houses or institutions of publication participating in the fair, with more than 35.000 books. This database provides direct access to the required book by the visitors. The organizers has also added a local directory indicating the pavilion's location of the house or institution of publication of the required book to ease the access to it.
To make use of this service, simply check with the administrator of the database, and provide him with the title of the book you are looking for or the author's name. The administrator will search for the book in the database and provide you with a paper bearing the name of the book and the houses publishing it as well as the serial number of the house that displays the requested book.
The organizers are keen to introduce the visitors of this fair in a variety of ways, including small brochures delivered by the organizers or the publishing houses of the books, in addition to the presence of a stand that displays a map of the location of the various pavilions and the service of "Ask for your book", distributed in more than one place within the first and second sections of the Karbala International Book Fair in the area between the two Holy Shrines.
