The two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) announced the winners' names of the competition to write a book about Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) held within the World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring in its 15th edition, in a ceremony held on Friday in the Hall of the Seal of Prophets (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) in the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Ja'far al-Musawi and a number of members of the baord of directors of the two holy shrines, in addition to some of the guests of the festival of the Martyrdom Spring. After the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading Surat al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, there was a word of the Supervising committee of this competition, delivered by Dr. Talal al-Kamali, in which he indicated the goals of this competition as well as the followed evaluation mechanism.

Then the winners' names were announced and then honored, which were as follows:

1- Dr. Mohammed Idan Abadi / Defending the history of Ashura, responses to Ibn Taymiyyah suspicions about the events of the at-Taf.

2- Nour Mahdi Kadhem Al-Sa'edi / The symbolism of the Husseini rituals - A reading in the religious and social heritage.

3 - Alaa Jabr Mohammed al-Musawi / characteristics of the personality of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) - assets - components - capacity.

4 - Mohsen Wahib Abdul Nasser Al Saadawi / Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) the heir of the prophets.

5 - Yusuf Madnin / human thought and its educational effects at Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

6 - Ahmed Aliwi / the leading features of the rise of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

7 - Hadi Abdul Nabi Tamimi / life of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his blessed revolution.

8. Abbas Ismail / Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in childhood.

9 - Saleh al-Tai / Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) as a governor.

10 - Alaa Safi al-Khudairy / Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the thought of Abbas Akkad.
