A meeting of the Preparatory Committee of the Festival of the Martyrdom Spring with its guests to inaugurate a new website: Islam, Why?

The central hall of the Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him) service complex of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine witnessed a brotherly dialogue session which brought together the members of the preparatory committee of the World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring in its current session with a group of guests of the festival.

The symposium was initiated by a member of the Preparatory Committee of the festival and the Deputy Secretary General of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine for Cultural Affairs, Mr. Afdhal Al-Shami, in which he addressed a number of topics related to the organizational matters of the festival and its most important objectives and goals.

After that, the committee listened to the guests' comments on the festival, and promised take their remarks into account for the next editions.

Mr. Jasem Al-Saidi, head of the Culture and Information Division of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, then gave a speech to announce the official opening of the website of them mentioned division entitled "Islam Why." He explained the sections of this website and the purpose of its establishment. Indicating: "Islam Why, is a new Islamic site that adopts moderation approach, and uses the scientific and modern means to export his speech (in form and content) to feed the humanitarian library by the moderate approach and answers your questions about creation, creator and religion. It is looking at the reasons for the existence of religion and benefits on human life, and is betting on the common sense before it is impacted by ideologies and orientations that throw it away from its roots. "

Explaining: "Islam... Why? is a website calling for humanity and is containing all without compromising the constants, looking at deep and clear focal lenses, rejecting, arguing, and persuading, because it is a fertile area for dialogue and its platforms are opened for debate. And the first and last clause in all of this, is the request of the truth; trying to clean the dust from the lens of the receiver in regard with Islam, looking for the threads of truth before their falsification, as it is based on wisdom through the good argument and sincere intentions."
