The 15th World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring concludes its women activities.

The women activities of the 15th World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring were concluded in a ceremony hosted by the Hall of the Master of Guardians (peace be upon him) at the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine in the presence of a large number women from inside and outside Iraq.

The program of the closing ceremony included the word of the preparatory committee delivered by Eng. Sarah Mohamad Ali, in which she expressed her appreciation to all the participants and supervisors of the festival, whishing that cooperation continues to include wider thinking and more participants.

Followed by the word of Ms. Bushra al-Kinani, Head of al-Kafeel Women Quranic Schools Group of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in which she stated that this festival is a pioneering event, which brings together a number of prominent women figures in the media and the community sector to discuss the trends that shape women's perspectives on which is based the future of modern Muslim women ".

Followed by the participation of Ms. Fatima Abdellah Ali from the Comoros, in which she indicated: "This participation is a continuation of the continuous support provided by Muslim women in various religious initiatives and activities, including the World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring, which aims also to highlight the role that women play."

The closing ceremony included a poetry participation of the poet Fatima Zahra Zahed of the University of Baghdad / College of Pharmacy, with a poem in which she mentioned the merits and qualities of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). Then the media figure; Ryan Jamal Rida Bandwa presented a lecture under the title: (human communication systems and their social implications).

The closing ceremony was concluded by announcing the names of the three winners of the competition (women in the victory of the third guardians) of the short story and honoring them, namely:

Third place: "the story of the missing link" of the writer Maryam al-Khafaji.

Second place: "the story of Karbala's moon" to the writer Raja Bitar.

First place: "the story of a soft bullet" to the writer of the Ruqayah Taj.



Then the shields and certificates of appreciation were distributed for those who contributed and participated in the success of these events.
