The continuation of the workshops on literacy strategies.

Under the slogan: "Eliminating illiteracy is the responsibility of all." For the second day in a row, the work of the conference and the development workshops to combat illiteracy organized by the Executive Office for Literacy in the Iraqi Ministry of Education in cooperation with the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) fighting squad and the directorate of education in Karbala, continues under the auspices of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. The two halls of Imam al-Hassan and al-Qasim (peace be upon both of them) embraced a number of workshops aimed at developing strategies to combat illiteracy.
The workshop, which was moderated by a group of professors and attended by a large group of specialists and researchers of this topic, included in its agenda the presentation and discussion of a number of files related to efforts in combating illiteracy and adult education, plans to confront this phenomenon, and putting forward new scientific ideas and visions to limit this scourge, which spread in the Iraqi society. Calling at the same time to develop a comprehensive national plan for all groups and ages to combat illiteracy.
These workshops also witnessed the experiences of the institutions that have assumed this responsibility, such as the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) fighting squad, which have successful experiences despite the obstacles that have faced their work, stressing the demand of the Iraqi government to develop a national plan to reduce the phenomenon of illiteracy rampant among different ages and categories of the Iraqi people.
