In the presence of a group of intellectuals, a number of media and the representative of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, represented by the official of its pavilion in the exhibition, Dr. Abdul Karim Hasan Nejad, The holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) established, in cooperation with the Iranian agency (news of the shrines) at its request and in the presence of its director, a media conference in their joint pavilion in the Foreign States Hall at the Tehran International Book Fair in its 32nd edition.
Jassam Mohammed Al-Saidi said: "During the symposium, which was welcomed by the educated visitors of the exhibition, the activities of the two holy shrines were discussed through documentary films of the Holy Shrine projects produced by the al-Kafeel center for artistic production, with a explanation about the publications of the holy shrine that are participating in the exhibition of the Arab and foreign publishing houses, including 418 books and encyclopaedias, as well as 25 books translated to multiple European and Asian languages, produced by Dar Al-Kafeel for translation."
He added: "The ceremony was concluded by honoring the distinguished journalists of the mentioned Agency in publishing the news of the season of Arba'een and the activities of the holy shrines, by the pavilion of Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, after that its official; Sayed. Ali Mamitha al-Moussawi gave his speech at the symposium, speaking about its cultural projects, visitors' cities and others, and then thanking the exhibition management to give the opportunity of the delegations of the two holy shrines to serve the faithful and link them to those holy shrines. "
In a special event, the flag of the golden dome of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and the flag of the dome of the holy shrine of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) were shown to the attendees, which gave a special spiritual atmosphere to the symposium, which included also presenting poems in Arabic and Persian to praise Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
For his part, Dr. Abdul Karim Hasan Nejad, representative of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, welcomed the delegations of the two holy shrines and thanked their efforts in spreading culture and science and developing the awareness of believers.
