Starting the preparing the fifth section of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The working staff of the project of cladding the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) started the fifth section and the last one, after the works were stopped because of the Ziyarat mid Sha'ban, preparing this section located in the southern part between the Qibla gate and gate of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

According to the head of the engineering projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Engineer Dea' Majeed al-Sa'egh in his statement of the al-Kafeel Network: "The preparatory work is one of the most important joints of this project. The engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has undertaken the responsibility to carry out these works. And since the beginning of this project's work, it is our partner in its implementation, because of its experience in these works."

Like the rest of sections, the work was preceded by preparatory works including: The removal of old marble and the old concrete parts and repairing the damaged ones, pouring concrete floor in preparation for cladding it with special concrete to help the adhesion to the old floor and to prevent moisture, installing an iron mesh to be put under the concrete casting and installing a ground network from water drainage networks to connections of electricity, fire and communications systems, to connect them to the holy sanctuary, and then to the main systems of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The project is executed by the Engineering Projects Department and the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. It is a complement to a series of projects carried out in a the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and as a result of the great damage of the current marble, which led to the distortion of its general view in addition to being old, as it has been more than (50) years since its installation until it was included within the implemented projects without intersection with other projects.
