The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announces the end of its preparations of the holy month of Ramadhan.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the completion of its preparations for the holy month of Ramadhan by preparing a plan to receive the visitors of the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to revive the holy month of Ramadhan and perform the rituals of the Ziyarat and prayer with ease.

And because the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is the second edifice that draws hearts of believers after the shrine of his brother Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) being the door of generosity and giving, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine prepared a special program for this holy month of Ramadhan, such as:

1 - A Quranic khatma for the staffs of the al-Abbas's holy shrine and the visitors, which is held after the Dhuhr prayer in the holy sanctuary.

2- A central Quranic khatma in which a group of international readers participate. It is held in the afternoon by reading a full Juz' daily.

3- Reading Du'a al-Iftitah every day after the Maghreb and Isha prayers, and Dua' al-Tawasul every Tuesday night and Du'a Kumayl every Thursday night from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

4- A daily lecture delivered by Sheikh Saheb Al-Taie about fasting rules.

5 - Participation and contribution to the establishment of the annual central cultural festival to the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) in the city of Hilla.

6 - Establishment of a program for the anniversary of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).

7- Issuing weekly or monthly publications pertaining to this month and remembering its virtues.

8 - The establishment of a special program for the anniversary of the wound and martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

9 - Establishment of a special program to revive the blessed nights of al-Qadr.

10. Organizing a number of women's activities carried out by the women's divisions, units and centers.
11. Conducting a weekly Quranic contest held every evening of the holy month.

12 - Preparation of a series of programs broadcasted via the al-Kafeel women radio station.

13 - Giving religious lectures through the Department of Religious Affairs, held daily to answer to questions and queries of visitors on fasting and its rules.

14. Broadcast of the shrine's programs by providing a special frequency for broadcasting on satellite channels.

15 - Provide meals for Iftar to the visitors by the host department of the holy shrine to be distributed through its external outlets.

16. Prepare breakfasts for the visitors in the service complexes of visitors such as the Sheikh Al-Kulayni compound on the Baghdad Road, the external host of the holy shrine on Najaf Road, and the Al-'Alqami complex on Hilla Road.

17- To prepare special places for visitors to perform their worship rituals both inside and outside the Holy Shrine.

18 - Providing snacks for the Iftar of visitors of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to be distributed daily.

19 - Deployment of a number of water tanks inside and outside the holy shrine with a constant cold water supply from Iftar time until the time of Suhur.

20 - Preparation of a number of freight vehicles to transport the elderly and the disabled from the external checkpoints to the nearest point of the holy shrine.

21 - Preparation of a fleet of vehicles to transport visitors in the event of any momentum in the influx of visitors during the peak days of Ziyarat, especially in the blessed nights of al-Qadr.

22 - Preparation of the expansion basements for the reception of visitors wishing to stay at night.
