Representations of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad distribute food baskets to the families of the martyrs, the wounded and the needy during the holy month of Ramadhan.

Since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadhan, the representations of the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) fighting squad in a number of provinces distributed food baskets to the families of the martyrs and the wounded and the needy, as part of a program prepared for this purpose and according to a timetable that will include most of those families.

The food basket contains a variety of food needed by the fasting person in this holy month, and this distribution is part of a large and comprehensive program that includes organizing consecutive visits to the wounded and the families of the martyrs in all regions of Iraq without exception, in order to communicate with them, fill their needs, give them attention and honor them in appreciation of the sacrifices made by the fighters. This program was launched in response to the directives of the supreme religious authority in order to contribute to the alleviation of the suffering of these families.

The program included organizing Iftar meals for the families of the martyrs, in addition to giving a religious lecture and honoring these families.
