A daily Iftar offered by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine during the holy month of Ramadhan to the orphans and families of the martyrs of the popular mobilization.

The service plan prepared by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the holy month of Ramadhan included a special program for the orphans, especially the orphans of the heroes of the popular mobilization and the security forces, by providing them with assistance and support or by inviting them to get the honor to eat Iftar at the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in addition to other activities.

This program is carried out in coordination with charity institutions and orphanage in Karbala province according to a time schedule prepared for this purpose to include more than 100 orphans with their families daily.

Al-Fadl Foundation for Orphan Care, which is based in Najaf and is home to hundreds of orphans, is one of the beneficiaries of this program. The al-Kafeel Network met with its official; Sheikh Hussein Al-Turabi, who stated: "The hosting of orphans in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine within this program is based on the word of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him): "Fear Allah in matters concerning orphans. Attend to their nutrition and do not forget their interests in the middle of yours." The program includes transporting them in the buses of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to perform the Ziyarat of the two holy shrines, then offering them a daily Iftar at the restaurant host of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for the orphans of the security forces and the popular mobilization.
