The most prominent directives of the Supreme Religious Authority to the Iraqi youth.

The supreme religious authority stated in the second sermon of Friday prayer of the 11th of the holy month of Ramadhan 1440 AH corresponding to May 17, 2019, which was held in the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and led by his eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, important moral and educational points and advices to the youth in relation to our reality, such as:

• Young people are the future of every country
• Young people are the potential any country that needs to ensure itself a prosperous future.
• Who is responsible of the future of our children?
• We see some of them suffer from many great problems.
• Life pressure may guide them to be away from all responsibility.
• If the youth cultural and intellectual vision is not completed, they will not be a useful element in the society.
• These young people today need to be guided by family, school, and society.
• Losing a young person as a society means losing a useful member of society who can be a reformer.
• You are in the age where you are physically, intellectually, and mentally active.
• You must benefit from this time to be serious, as countries are built with faithfulness and assiduity.
• Young people should tackle life and its challenges bravely and have goals to fulfill regardless of the problems, difficulties or challenges.
• You must defy all with strength and courage to reach your goals, because hopes without hard work do not lead but to regret.
• Benefit from your time the best way possible.
• We are warning you against wasting time doing nonsensical things, as when young people don’t take advantage of their time, they will have to accept the consequences when they age.
• There is no interest in trying everything. Some things can not be tried.
• Those who think they understand everything in life should not feel this way; they need to listen to senior people with great experiences and learn from them, for they were young and experienced many things and can now advise the young to do what’s right.
• You need to think about the future, and make a plan for it and follow it so you can succeed in your lives.
• It is important to know from whom young people learn, for there are those who climb on the shoulders of these young people for their own interest and attempt to exploit young people to achieve their goals.
• To the families: Please talk with your children, help them, and guide them so they know the dangers of their acts.
• Do not get distracted by life delusions but sit with your son and daughter to listen to them and teach them the good, this is the happiness of every mother and father.
• Iraq is a country known by family unity, but we started being scared for this family solidarity, as each of the family members is busy with his own matter.
• We should not forget that there is in us an innate tendency to love to listen to the father and the mother. Why some try to destroy this?
• We are calling on the Iraqi families to pay more attention to their children, guide them, and help them be aware of the perils of life, the decision makers to support the young, and the young to be more educated and optimistic.
• Despite all the problems that plague the country, we should not be victims of family disunity.
