The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participates in the international exhibition of the sciences of the Quran in its 27th edition.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Department of Islamic Knowledge and Human Affairs, participated in the International Quranic Science Fair at its 27th session, which is organized by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Guidance in Tehran under the slogan: "The Qur'an is the meaning of life" in the Musalla of Imam Khomeini, lasting until the May 24, 2019 with the participation of (300) institutions representing (18) countries.

As in every local or international participation, the department did spare no effort for conveying the best image of the holy shrine during this event. The pavilion included dozens of books, Qur'anic publications, periodicals and other heritage magazines issued by the department and its centers in the Iraqi provinces, and all that would contribute effectively to support the dissemination of knowledge and science by books, which are an important source of researchers and specialists in religious and heritage affairs.

Since the first day, the pavilion was largely visited by the interested and official figures. The pavilion was visited by the Iranian Deputy Minister of Culture in the affairs of the Quran and Al-'Itara, the head of the exhibition, Abdul Hadi Faqhi Zadeh, the Iranian Minister of Culture and Guidance Dr. Abbas Salehi, as well as the Iranian police chief Sardar Heshtari and other dignitaries who expressed their appreciation for the participation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine had previous participations in this exhibition, and has achieved a remarkable presence, and was able to win prizes in each of the participation in terms of organization and presentation, demand and interaction.
