Within the celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him), a poetry festival was held in the vicinity of the shrines of his brothers.

In an atmosphere of joy and celebration in the vicinity of the holy shrines of his brothers; Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) celebrated the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him), as the department of the square between the two Holy Shrines organized a poetry festival with the participation of many poets and Radoods, and which was attended by a large gathering of the visitors of the two holy shrines.

The celebration, which started by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor to the Iraq's martyrs, included the presentation of many poems and religious stanzas in which the poets highlighted the extent of love and attachment to the Prophet and his family (peace be upon them) in general, and especially the celebrated in this anniversary; the beloved grandson of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and the first light of Imam Ali and Lady Fatima (peace be upon both of them); Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) which birth enlightened the whole universe.
