The most important points stated by the Supreme Religious Authority in the second sermon of Friday prayer

The supreme religious authority stated in the second sermon of Friday prayer of the 18th of the holy month of Ramadhan 1440 AH corresponding to May 24, 2019, which was held in the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and led by his eminence Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbala'i, important moral and educational points in relation to the holy month of Ramadhan, such as:

• How do we take advantage of the blessings of the holy month of Ramadhan to reform the social relations' system?
• The infallible Imams often mentioned in their narrations about the holy month of Ramadhan: "Don’t let your fasting day be like your non-fasting day,”
• It is well known that this holy month has a specificity, blessings and divine grace, which makes the hearts accept more the advices and guidance in this month more than during the other months.
• In our life we do commit sins and mistakes and fall behind the serious reform and righteousness in our lives, so we need to review ourselves as individuals and as a society constantly to address our lives.
• The holy month of Ramadhan is the best opportunity to re-evaluate oneself and rectify ones faults.
• Among the issues that are threatening the social fabric are abandoning one another, dissension, and severance due to rivalry, conflict, crisis, and divergence in views and beliefs.
• This friction between people generates a lot of hatreds, envy and other problems and crises, leading to the dissension and severance.
• Islam and the infallible Imams (peace be upon them) wanted the Islamic society to be strong and coherent in order to be able to overcome problems and crises and face the enemies with courage and strength, as when the society is weak and incoherent, it is ease to penetrate and influence it.
• The Imams (peace be upon them) wanted us to show others the Islamic principles and values of compassion, solidarity, cooperation and treating each other mercifully.
• They have urged that we avoid dissension and severance in our relationships, regardless of the differences, conflicts and problems that we might face with one another in our society.
• The Imams (peace be upon him) urged to take advantage of the religious atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadhan that makes the believers more kind-hearted and they welcome advice.
• So, be introspective and review and fix your relationships with the others.
• Bonds of kin are needed by everyone regardless of the faith or belief.
• The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) implies in his sermon that he who does not help his own kinsmen withholds only his hand but when he is in need of their assistance and would be looking for their sympathy and support then he would remain deprived of the sympathies and succour of so many of their extending hands and marching feet.
• There are numerous traditions to the fact that maintaining ties of kinship is obligatory.
• During this holy month, we have to meditate and try to communicate with our kin, even if they abandoned you, and forgive those who wronged us.
