More than 26 Quranic khatma sponsored and supervised by the branch of the Institute of the Holy Quran in the province of Najaf.

The Institute of the Holy Quran in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that the number of Quranic Khatmas administered and sponsored by its branch in the holy city of Najaf during the holy month of Ramadhan, which reached more than (26) Quranic Khatma that was organized in many areas of the province and continues until the end of the holy month.

Sheikh Jawad Al-Nasraoui, Director of the Institute, said: "Taking advantage of the days of the holy month of Ramadhan by reciting the Quran with meditation and reflection makes the reader be enlightened and reach advanced stages of guidance. And according to word of Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him): "Everything has a spring and the spring of the Quran is the month of Ramadhan", the branch of the Institute in the province of Najaf began establishing several Khatmas in different parts of the province."

"The various khatmas is one of the activities and events organized by the Institute within its curriculum for the revival of the days and nights of the holy month of Ramadhan, being held in Mosques and Hussayniyat in Najaf, with the participation of a group of readers and in the presence of a large group of believers. It aims at spreading and rooting the culture of the Holy Quran in society. "
