The host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine distributes hundreds of Iftar meals.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues throughout the year to provide food to the visitors, whether on ordinary days or in the special Ziyarat or special occasions, including the holy month of Ramadhan, for the great reward of offering Iftar to the fasting person. All from the generosity and tender of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) through its host restaurant.

The head of the department of the host, Haj Adil Hamami, told the al-Kafeel network: "The host department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, during the holy month of Ramadhan, opened its doors to the visitors to receive them and offer them Iftar meals, whether in the restaurant hall or in the outlets of external distribution, taking into account the taste of the visitors in the preparation of the offered meals, and also the increasing number of the visitors in the month of fasting. We distribute 2.500 meals a day and up to twice that number in the Friday eves and nights of al-Qadr."

He added: "Due to the large number of visitors coming to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine this month, which cannot be received in the restaurant hall, we distributed "taken" food - which includes an integrated meal for visitors throughout the holy month of Ramadhan, through the distribution center located outside the holy shrine to ensure that all visitors break their fast at one time without delay, but on the Friday eves and due to overcrowding, we distribute food to the visitors through other outlets spread around the holy shrine."

"There are other Iftar meals to be distributed to visitors' campaigns heading to the holy shrines of Karbala, as we offer them about 500 meals a day," Hamami said.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special service program for the month of Ramadhan including the distribution of free Iftar meals to the visitors.
