The Water Division provided 4.500.000 liters of cold drinking water during the holy month of Ramadhan.

Great efforts were made by the Water Division of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the holy month of Ramadhan, providing four million five hundred thousand liters of cooled water for visitors and families, as well as processions and service bodies. During the holy month of Ramadhan, the staffs filled the reservoirs located inside and outside the holy shrine, in addition to the reservoirs in the streets leading to the Holy Shrine Shrines.

These large quantities of R0 water were brought from the station of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for water desalination and were transported by special vehicles to maintain their coolness. And from time to time the reservoirs are refilled and the process continues until late at night, before the process of cleaning and washing the reservoirs to be ready to be filled the next day.

It is worth mentioning that the process of providing water to the visitors of the shrine of the master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the responsibility of the Water Division. This operation takes place at specific times according to a time schedule in the ordinary days. And on the days of specific Ziyarat and major events as well as the holy month of Ramadhan, the efforts are increased to provide the needed water for the visitors.
