How the desert lands were converted into green oases through the Saqi project of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine?

A documentary film produced by al-Kafeel Center for Artistic Production and Live Broadcast, titled "al-Saqi", the Alternative water project, highlights the vital and important project.

This project is the first of its kind in Iraq, which was adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to make water wells alternative to the Euphrates River, as it was implemented by the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in cooperation with the Department of wells in the province of Karbala, resulting the drilling of 50 wells as a beginning.

This project comes to face the water crisis in the world and in Iraq in particular, through the lack of water levels of the Tigris and Euphrates, so it is necessary to resort to the use of alternative water of wells.
