The project "Ruhama' baynahom" [merciful among themselves] celebrates its second anniversary.

The Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for conferences and seminars at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, embraced on Friday 10th Shawwal 1440 AH corresponding to June 14, 2019, the celebration of the second anniversary of the "Ruhama' baynahom" project sponsored by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, amid a large media and academic presence as well as the presence of officials from the local government in Karbala.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by listening to the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

Then came the word of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine delivered by the member of its Board of Directors, Dr. Abbas al-Musawi.

Then there was a speech by the Director of the Center (Ruhama' baynahom [merciful among themselves]); Mr. Amir Hassan Abbas, in which he said: "We extend our sincere thanks to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for all the support and contribution it has made to the success of this Iraqi national humanitarian reform project."

The ceremony also included a presentation of a documentary film about the project, showing the great efforts exerted by the members of the team (Ruhama' baynahom) to embrace as many begging children as possible, as well as housing them and working on their rehabilitation psychologically and educationally.

During the ceremony, a statistical presentation was made by Mr. Ali Jabbar Jouda, one of the founders of the project, in which he highlighted the achievements of the Center over the past two years through charts and accurate information. He also highlighted the Center's future plans for the expansion of the humanitarian work on child beggars in the holy city of Karbala.

After that, the children of the project (Ruhama' baynahom [merciful among themselves) were presented to the audience to honor them. To conclude the ceremony by honoring all those who contributed to the success of this blessed humanitarian project.
