3.500 students participate in the summer Quranic courses in Najaf.

More than 3.500 students participate in the summer Quranic courses, held by the branch of the Institute of the Holy Quran of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in Najaf. The students were dispatched into educational workshops in the mosques and Hussayniyat of the province.

The project witnessed a great interest by the parents who rushed to register their children in the educational courses, in which they will study lessons in the Holy Quran, beliefs, jurisprudence, ethics and biography [sirah], in addition to educational and moral lessons within a Qur’anic program prepared according to modern educational methods, in order to entrench the Qur’anic and Islamic culture in the hearts of these youth.

"The number of participants in these courses is increasing year after year," said Sheikh Jawad Al Nasrawi, Director of the Institute. "We provided the participating students with all the necessary care starting by food, protection and gifts, as well as other encouraging features to create a suitable atmosphere for their ages. There is a high organization to transport the participating students from their homes to their places of study and to hold their workshops every morning, and then return them smoothly and orderly to their homes after completing their lessons. "

It is noteworthy that this project is considered one of the important and fundamental projects in the Institute of the Holy Quran, because it is of great importance for the rooting of religious culture in the hearts of the emerging participants, as well as being the best investment for the summer vacation.
