On Thursday 23rd Shawwal 1440 AH corresponding to June 27, 2019, was the opening of the art exhibition in the area between the two holy shrines, which included a large number of works of art, photographs, paintings and sculptures, and was held within the activities of the fourth festival of the Fatwa of the sacred defense. The opening ribbon was cut by a number of officials of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, headed by its Secretary-General Engineer Mohammed al-Ashigar.
The supervisor of the exhibition; Mr. Abbas Radhi stated to al-Kafeel Network: "The participants in this exhibition are the Center for African Studies of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in addition to the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, with forty paintings and artistic works in addition to the participation of the Anamal civilization Foundation from the city Babylon with forty-eight works varied between oil painting and sculptural work."
He added: "The exhibition also witnessed the participation of the al-Kafeel center for artistic production and distribution with several photographic works, in addition to the participation of the Division of Childhood and Youth of the Department of intellectual and cultural affairs in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine through dozens of posters and artistic designs."
He pointed out that: "The exhibition will last for two days and will be accompanied by additional works of art over the duration of the presentation, such as direct painting and Arabic calligraphy."
It is worth mentioning that this exhibition is one of the activities that are included in the program of the festival of the holy defense fatwa in its current edition.
