The National Project of the Prince of Readers is launching its fifth edition with the participation of more than 120 students.

With the participation of more than 120 students from various Iraqi provinces, the activities of the fifth edition of the national project of the Prince of the Readers was launched on Saturday (27th Shawwal 1440 AH) corresponding to July 1, 2019 in the al-'Alqami service complex. This project that was established by the readers and hafez center of the Holy Quran Institute at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The first day was dedicated to receiving the students and entering their information in a database, and then distributing them on the Quranic schools. This edition will last for about two months, during which the participating students will receive intensive lessons in recitation, beliefs and jurisprudence, in addition to seminars, lectures, forums and various faith evenings.

The project includes five schools of recitation: Hafiz Khalil Ismail School following the Iraqi recitation, Sheikh Abd al-Fattah al-Shaasha'i School, Sheikh Mohammed Siddiq Al Manshawi School, Sheikh Shehhat Mohammed Anwar School, , and the school of Sheikh Abi al-'Aynayn Sh'aycha'. Noting that there is a special Division for the sons of the martyrs and fighters of the popular mobilization including the newcomers.

The project is one of the leading Quranic projects sponsored by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and is supervised by qualified professors from inside and outside Iraq. It aims to create a distinctive Quranic generation that undertakes to complete the Qur'anic process with steady steps and prepare young talents to the recitation of the Holy Quran according to a modern system within the summer vacation, which a short and perfect period.
