The Quranic Women's Institute begins its Quranic Summer Course.

In conjunction with the start of the summer vacation and along with the Quranic courses launched for men by the Holy Quran Institute, the Quranic Women's Institute of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs has launched, for the eighth year in a row, its Qur'anic Summer Courses for Girls in all branches of the Institute in Baghdad, Wasit, Dhi Qar, Karbala, Basrah and Diwaniyah, as well as the center and headquarters of the Institute in Najaf province and its branch outside Iraq in the Iranian city of Arak.

The head of the Quranic Women Institute; Mrs. Manar Jawad al-Jaboori stated to al-Kafeel Network: "The Quranic Summer Women's Project is one of the Quranic projects adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the investment of the summer holiday, and to contribute to the education of girls, and to raise their awareness of with the help of the Qur'an and their education according the teachings of Islam, and the morals of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and to contribute to instilling the meaning of the Holy Quran in the hearts and behavior of our daughters and the establishment of a conscious generation linked to the book of God and apply its morals on the ground, through a package of Quranic programs."

She added: "The courses include lessons within a curriculum prepared by Quranic cadres specialized in recitation, rulings, memorization and methods, as well as lessons in jurisprudence, beliefs and ethics that correspond to the age of the participants according to each age stage (ages 9 to 22 years) and for all levels. This program was enriched by other activities to teach and develop skills and handicrafts among participants ".

"For the sake of the sustainability and success of this project, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has provided all the supplies of Quranic pamphlets and logistical materials as well as free transportation. This year, the project witnessed a clear response and interaction by the participants who consider these courses an opportunity to develop their Quranic abilities".
