Al-Kafeel Hospital provides the latest device to measure the level of physical fitness.

As part of its efforts to provide the latest medical devices and equipment, in order to provide advanced medical and treatment services to the citizens of this country, and to create a state of medical and therapeutic integration, the al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine started providing the services of a device that measures the level of physical fitness (Vo2 max), which is considered the most modern in Iraq.

"It will be a great addition to the hospital, because it is important in measuring the fitness level of athletes and the general public. It is a modern device that works electronically," said Dr. Ahmed Saleh al-Tayyar, a specialist in respiratory physiology at the al-Kafeel Hospital.

He added: "The device measures the volume of oxygen in the lung and its consumption, and determines the level of anaerobic breathing as well as measuring the stress of heart and lung, and thanks to these data we can easily identify training programs to improve the level of fitness accurately according to the data of each person."

At the end of his speech, Dr. Tayyar called on all athletes or others who wishes to evaluate and develop their fitness level to take advantage of this device for physical fitness because of its positive impact, which is one of the most common devices used in developed countries.
