Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad secures the road of the pilgrims of the holy House of God.

The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad (brigade 26 of the popular mobilization) started securing the road pilgrims of the holy House of God to perform the pilgrimage rituals, within its security and service duty on more than 200 km on the 'Ar'ar border road and in coordination with the security operations leaderships.

As the security leaderships asked the squad to provide support to secure the road, because the squad has the strength and readiness to make it able to perform its duty and to enter the desert and the rugged terrain.

In a statement to the commander of the Om al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Brigade, Brigadier Colonel 'Akeed Najm Abdullah Ali, he said: "This year the squad adopted a flexible and modern plan, which included the deployment of ambushes and detachments in the desert at a depth of 50 km, in addition to securing directly the road to organize the pilgrims' convoys". He pointed out that "this duty is shared by all sections of the squad including the supporting fighting units, communications, religious guidance, media and other service units, such as the blessed Hussayni processions, including the procession of the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) fighting squad."

He added: "The supervisor of al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) fighting squad; Sheikh Maitham al-Zaidi and his aides are on the field to oversee the implementation of the plan and to follow-up the affairs of the fighters, as well as the affairs of pilgrims."

It is worth mentioning that the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad is bearing the responsibility of securing the Nukhayb district since five years, noting that no security breach was registered within its work district during these years. It is to note that the al-Kafeel tank participates in the protection and securing the road of the pilgrims of the holy House of God, being its first duty after unveiling this developed tank.
