In pictures: The Division of the holy sanctuary finished the washing works and furnished the holy sanctuary with the new carpets.

Within the plan framework of the division of the holy sanctuary at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which has the responsibility of cleaning the holy sanctuary regularly, the cadres of the division completed the washing works of the holy sanctuary of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and furnishing it with the new carpet.

Mr. Zayn al-'Abideen Adnan al-Qurayshi stated to al-Kafeel Global Network: "The staff of our division have finished the washing works of the holy sanctuary of the Moon of Bani Hashem (peace be upon him) to preserve the beauty of the surrounding area of the holy grid, as well as cleaning the glass, mirrors and the chandeliers, using detergents that help to maintain the magnificent aura of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

He added: "After the washing process we - as usual - perfume the holy sanctuary with the use of special scents and incenses from the finest Arab incenses, and we also perfume the marble with a special perfume.

He added: "After the washing works, we have also furnished the sanctuary with more than (88) new carpets, which are high quality sapphire blue carpets of different measurements, characterized by plant inscriptions that fit the sanctity of the place.

"We are usually careful to choose the times in which we perform our washing works, so this work was done in the middle of the night as the momentum of the visitors declined."
