The Secretary General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine toured along with members of the Board of Directors some of its industrial projects.

The Secretary General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine Engineer Sayed Mohamad al-Ashigar and his deputy Eng. Abbas Mousa accompanied by a number of its distinguished board members and heads of its departments, made an inspection tour of a number of its industrial projects.

The tour aims to contribute to the definition of these projects and their updates, and to highlight the services provided to visitors and citizens alike, which is a contributing force to the national economy according to different disciplines.

The first station of the tour was the al-Kafeel dairy lab in the area of ​​Ibrahimia. The plant official has provided detailed explanation of the mechanism of work in this important project, after which the delegation went to the complex of Al-Saqqa/2 and had a tour in this complex, including the al-Kafeel ice factory in addition to Dar Al-Kafeel for printing, publishing and distribution. The officials of these industrial projects presented a number of important details about the work of these sites and what they provided during the past years as well as their future plans. The tour was concluded by visiting a group of artistic workshops of the Engineering Maintenance Department of the Holy Shrine such as the carpentry and the (mdf), the forging and other workshops.

For his part, Eng. Mohamed al-Ashigar, the Secretary General of the holy shrine, said: "This tour is one of the activities of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which aims at informing the heads of the departments and their assistants about the projects of the holy shrine, in order to contribute to create a communication state between the staff of the holy shrine and its projects and to show how these projects can benefit the holy city of Karbala."

"These projects will provide many of the necessary requirements for this holy city, including the opportunity to contain the labor force in addition to activating the national industry, and it achieves the principle of self-sufficiency, which is important in keeping the local currency in the country, and this investing it to serve the country. And God willing, this visit will not be the last but there will be a regular program for all workers in the holy shrine."
