The Engineering Maintenance Department starts installing spray fans in the streets leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The staff and cadres of the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine began working on the project of installing spray fans in the streets leading to the holy shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) as well as the surroundings of the shrine and its sanctuary.

This project is executed because of the high temperatures in the summer, which led the engineering maintenance department to install these spray fans that alleviate the heat for the visitors.

About this project, the head of the engineering maintenance department, Engineer Samir Abbas Ali, stated to the al-Kafeel Global Network: "The engineering cadres working in our department installed about 300 fans surrounding the shrine and the streets leading to the Holy shrine, which are high efficiency fans permeated by waterproof pipes ".

He added: "We started work on the Euphrates Street, where we installed a number of spray fans on the poles of lighting in this street, and through experience, the atmosphere was improved by 70%."

He added: "We did the same in the surroundings of the shrine, where we have installed about 50 spray fans, and we will also install a number of fans to circulate the cold air inside the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), but without the water spray." Indicating that the cadres continue to install the largest number of these fans in the rest of the streets leading to the holy shrine.

He concluded: "Work is continuing day and night for the completion of the project as soon as possible by the staff of the Department of Engineering Maintenance with many of its divisions."
