Lebanese women delegation visits the Library of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

Mrs. Nahed Qabout, member of the Coordination Committee of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine in Lebanon, confirmed to the al-Kafeel Network that "the Library and House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have diversified books that serve the writer, the reader and the researcher, becoming a source for everyone seeking knowledge and contributing to preserve the heritage of the imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)."

Mrs. Qabout was accompanied by a delegation from the Republic of Lebanon, which included the winners of the "Sibt al-Akbar Competition, which was organized by the Hawraa Zeinab Center (Peace be upon her) of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine.

She added: "The efforts harnessed by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in various fields and levels, especially the educational aspect of woman, taking care of her and of her level, is a source of pride. The Women's Library is an evidence of this."

For her part, Mrs. Asma al-Abbadi, head of the Women's Library Division at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, said: "This visit is one of many visits by personalities and delegations from inside and outside Iraq. The delegation toured the library's corridors, and was briefed about its books and publications, as well as the most prominent women activities carried out by the Division and its projects aimed at improving the cultural level of woman, and work to increase her scientific and knowledge through various activities and events."

She added: "At the end of the visit of this delegation, which also included the Center for the restoration of manuscripts and the al-Kafeel Museum of the treasures and manuscripts and a tour of the al-'Afaf Shopping Complex, its members expressed their happiness for this visit and praises what they saw during it."
