A delegation from the Dutch Embassy visits Al-Joud Company for Modern Agriculture Technology and expressed its desire to open the prospects of joint cooperation.

On the 19th of Dhu al-Qi'dah 2019 corresponding to July 24, 2019, a delegation from the Dutch Embassy visited Al-Joud Company for Agriculture Technology and Modern Industry of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. The visit came as part of the visits of foreign delegations to see the development of this company as well as the achievements of qualitative mutations in the world of production at the agricultural and industrial levels in Iraq. The visit aims to open prospects for joint cooperation between Iraqi companies and their Dutch counterparts.

The second Secretary in the Economic Section of the Dutch Embassy in Baghdad; Mr. Mark Bracconi explained to al-Kafeel Network the importance of this visit, saying: "The Dutch embassy in Baghdad focused several years ago on the support of the military side, and now we are focusing on the agricultural and commercial aspects. We visited the holy city of Karbala, where are located the projects of the Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas Holy Shrines, including the al-Joud international company for the technology of modern agriculture of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine."

He added: "We opened the first agricultural program about a month ago, and soon there will be cooperation on the agricultural side in the future with the private sector, through the development of an agricultural extension in the Dutch Embassy in Baghdad, and this supplement will be a link between the embassy and Dutch companies in the private sector "He said.

"There is a Dutch company that will arrive in the holy city of Karbala in about two weeks to work on the development of the livestock of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine."

For his part, the executive director of the company, Eng. Maitham Bahadli said: "The reason for the visit of the Dutch delegation to the holy shrines' projects in the city of Karbala, specifically the agricultural ones, shows that the Dutch government is directed to open the horizons of work and joint investment, because they saw successful experiences adopted by the holy shrine in the development of the private agricultural sector".

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its desire to open the horizons of cooperation between the Dutch companies and Al-Joud Company. The delegation will take responsibility for conveying this beautiful picture of Al-Joud's latest achievements in the industrial and agricultural fields.
