The Institute of the Holy Quran at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine concludes its summer courses of the year 1440 AH with a ceremony of graduation of more than (22.000) students.

On the evening of Friday the 22nd of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1440 AH corresponding to July 26, 2019, the closing ceremony of the Qur'anic Summer Courses Project, held by the Institute of the Holy Quran of the Islamic and Human Knowledge Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, was held in the holy shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The ceremony witnessed the presence of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi and readers of the Holy Quran in the Islamic world from foreign and Arab countries. He included the graduation of more than 22.000 students from several governorates who participated in these courses to invest the summer holidays by learning the Holy Quran in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for about two months.

The graduation ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the talented reader Ahmad Ali Mohamad, one of the graduated students. Followed by the welcoming speech of the Institute of the Holy Quran delivered by its director; Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi.

Then there was the speech of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine delivered by the Board Member Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Musawi, in which he explained that the holy shrine sought to embrace these numbers of participating students in order to entrench the love of the divine values.

After that, the speech of the participating students was delivered by the student Sayed Hasan al-Alawi, then Mr. Mustafa al-Da'mi gave a presentation on the lessons presented in the project. Then a documentary film about this session was delivered. The ceremony was concluded by the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; "Pride's Tune".
