Thousands of worshipers perform Eid al-Adha prayer at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

With the first sun lights after dawn of the tenth of Dhu al-Hijjah 1440 AH, thousands of worshipers have performed the Eid al-Adha prayer in the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), amid atmosphere filled with the love of God, the prophet and Ahl al-Bayt (Allah's prayers be upon them all). As after that the masses of the visitors, coming from inside and outside Iraq, have performed the recommended acts of 'Arafah day, they concluded their rituals with the Eid prayer.

Many Eid prayers were held consecutively in the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) because of the large number of worshipers coming to perform this rituals. The same scene was witnessed in the holy shrine of the Master of martyrs; Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

It is to note that a central prayer was held in the square between the two holy shrines led by sheikh Habib al-Kadhemi.
