Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy shrine conducts a surgery free of charge for a 7-year-old boy with warp-spine.
A medical team at the hospital announced the successful operation of a scoliosis for a seven-year-old boy, while parents of the child praised the hospital as it conducted the operation free of charge.
This comes as part of a series of free services to help needy families through conducting free operations and treatment at times or by giving discounts, continuing the implementation of multiple humanitarian programs aimed at serving all segments of society from different cities of Iraq.
The head of the medical team; Dr. Wael Qasem, a specialist in spine surgery, said: "Our team succeeded in performing an operation for a seven-year-old boy who was suffering from a scoliosis."
He explained: "The operation took about (9) hours and was conducted using modern medical techniques provided by the hospital, and the child has now a straight spine."
The child's father added: "The hospital conducted the operation for my child free of charge, after I appealed to his management and I was responded quickly."
Then he expressed his thanks to the management of the hospital for providing free services to patients in need from different governorates of the country, and contributing in the treatment of patients who do not have the means to pay the treatment or are unable to travel for treatment in other countries.
