The Institute of the Holy Quran/ Najaf Branch holds a specialized course entitled "Writing scientific research for modern Quranic studies".

As part of its activities to promote the culture of the Holy Quran, the Najaf Branch of the Holy Quran Institute of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a specialized course under the title (writing scientific research for modern Qur'anic and doctrinal studies), including several lessons and successive lectures through which it provides how to develop the Quranic studies, which comes within the plan of the Najaf branch of the Institute of the Holy Quran to contribute to the development of Quranic research and enrich the experience of researchers in this field at the scientific, methodological and technical levels.
The first lecture of the course, in which Dr. Ammar Abdul Razzaq Al-Saghir lectured, included theoretical framework of scientific research, where he defined the research and its purpose, as well as the nature of the study and the most important fields and stages of problem analysis and rules, and presented the most theoretical aspects related to research and researcher, with applications to illustrate some of the demands, in addition to citing many situations that may face the researcher during his scientific career and methodology in writing scientific research.
The lecture witnessed a distinguished attendance by the participating students who expressed the importance of this course to confront the thought that distorts Islamic beliefs.
It is noteworthy that the Holy Quran Institute of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is continuously holding activities and events about the Holy Quran memorization, recitation and research.
