In order to activate the channels of communication between the holy shrines: A delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) Shrine visits the Kadhemiya and the 'Askariyayn shrines and the shrine of Sayed Muhammad (peace be upon him).

As part of its annual tour of the holy shrines, a delegation from the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, headed by the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi, its secretary general; Eng. Mohamad al-Ashigar and members of its board of directors and heads of its departments, visited the holy shrine of Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad, the holy shrine of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari and the shrine of Sayed Mohamad son of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon them all).

The visit was followed by an extensive meeting with the secretaries of the mentioned holy shrines as well as the members of its board of directors, to discuss the frameworks of joint cooperation and discuss matters aimed at developing work within the holy shrines, in addition to activating channels of communication and joint work to provide services to visitors at these holy shrines. As well as being debriefed about the projects that have been completed and those that are still underway.

The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Eng. Mohamad Al-Ashigar stated: "This meeting and this visit came in order to activate the channels of cooperation between the holy shrines throughout the Islamic world, and to provide the best services to visitors, especially during the days of the special Ziyarat in which millions of visitors flock to the Holy Shrines."

He added: "The meeting also included finding different forms of work on the level of development that concerns the urban side of the holy shrines, where the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine showed its willingness to work through its various cadres and specialized in all fields, to work together with the brothers in the holy shrines of Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad and of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon them). And God willing, there will be joint work in the future between these holy shrines, especially in the field of reconstruction and development, as we had a tour in the facilities of the holy shrine in Samarra and witnessed the size of the urban development taking place there. The administration of the holy shrine gave us a detailed report about the completed projects and also those that are under work as well as future projects. "
