Sa'eed Ibn Abdillah al-Hanafi, one of the great companions of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Sacrifice, altruism and steadfastness on the situation until the last breath are the characteristics of the authentic lover of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). And throughout history, the followers of the school of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) are ready to sacrifice themselves to support Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Like Sa'eed Ibn Abdillah al-Hanafi. On some accounts, Sa'eed was martyred after the noon prayer. When Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) was saying the prayers at noon, the enemy's army approached the Imam (peace be upon him). Sa'eed was guarding him by shielding himself against arrows thrown to the Imam (peace be upon him) and other prayer performers. He was hit by arrows in his face, chest, sides and, hands.

When he fell down and was dying, he turned to Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) then, and said to him: "O the son of the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household)! Have I fulfilled my pledge?" The Imam (peace be upon him) said: "Yes, you are in the heaven in front of me". It is said that when he was martyred, there were 13 arrows on his body, in addition to injuries by swords and spears.
