Saif Ibn Hareth and Malek Ibn Abdillah; cousins from al-Jaberi family, great companions of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

It is a great matter to see two believers meeting in order to support and obey the Imam of their time, until they became martyrs and gain the honor of defending the beloved grandson of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

Along with the companions of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him), there were two young men; Saif son of al-Hareth son of Saree' al-Jaberi and Malek son of Abd son of Saree' al-Jaberi, who were cousins. They cried when they saw Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) surrounded by the enemies. So the Imam told them: "O sons of my brother! May God reward you for your presence and your consolation to me with your souls, the best reward of the pious ones."
