Sayed servants of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine set up a condolence council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him).

On Thursday morning 26th Muharram Al-Haram 1441 AH corresponding to September 26, 2019, the unit for the commemoration of religious occasions, of the division of the Sayed servants of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, has set up as part of its condolence program prepared for this sad occasion, which is the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zayn al-'Abideen Ali son of al-Hussayn (peace be upon them), a condolence council in the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the presence of a number of visitors.

The council was led by Sheikh Ali Mohan from the Religious Affairs Department in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, who presented a lecture centered on the life of Imam Zayn al-'Abideen (peace be upon him), most notably the post al-Taf tragedy and his great role in the dissemination of Al-Hussayni thought and the fight against the Umayyad ideology through his keenness to continue the reform line led by his father, the master of martyrs (prayers and peace be upon them). The sheikh also highlighted aspects of the life of Imam Zayn al-'Abideen (peace be upon him), his worship, piety, generosity and kindness.

The Council was concluded by reading the sad poems and lamentations about the calamity of the martyrdom of the fourth of the imams; Imam as-Sajjad Ali son of al-Hussayn (peace be upon them).

It should be noted that the Division of Sayed servants sets up a consolation council in the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) at each of martyrdom anniversaries of our imams (peace be upon them).
