The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concludes the preparations of the guidance centers for the lost and missing.

The Communications Division of the Projects' Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that it has completed the installation and preparation of guidance centers for the missing and lost, in order to keep children and the elderly from being lost and to enable their relatives to easily find them if they are lost during the momentum of the Ziyarat Arba'een.

Engineer Firas Hamza, the Division's official said: "The opening of these centers came because of the great importance of helping the visitors finding the missing and lost persons from their families, especially children during the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). In addition to the good results achieved by these Centers during previous seasons. "

He continued: "In order to continue this service, we have increased this year the number of centers with an increase in the scope of services, adding more than 18 centers, 15 of which have been added towards Musayyib, which were opened in coordination with the police Energy protection and more than three centers were opened in the province of Diwaniyah due to the momentum witnessed there. Also, we have installed this year our own wireless network, and all the centers were provided with a wireless device connected to a special control room that controls all the centers and provide a connection within wide ranges. "

He further explained: "These centers are run by trained cadres of Iraqi university students and institutes, who were brought in by the Division of University Relations at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine as volunteers to work in these centers, after they were subjected to special courses and meetings to clarify the tasks and duties assigned to them."

It is noteworthy that the centers for the lost and missing are considered one of the services provided by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to the visitors. In the last Ziyarat Arba'een, they were able to find and return thousands of lost persons to their families. These center are equipped with an electronic system with a unified database linked to the rest of the centers through an electronic program through which the data of the missing person is registered to be circulate it in other centers.
