The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad meets with the Middle Euphrates Operations Command to discuss securing Ziyarat Arba'een.

As part of its security preparations for securing the Ziyarat Arba'een, the leadership of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad (26th Brigade / Popular Mobilization) and the Central Euphrates Operations Command held a meeting on the distribution of tasks for securing the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The general supervisor of the Squad, Mr. Maytham al-Zaidi, said: "The Squad announced alert (C) with the imminent Ziyarat of millions of visitors, as well as in light of the developments and events in the country, so the enemy do not to exploit these circumstances and target visitors." Indicating: "The Squad's units are extended from the northwest of Karbala to Nukhaib, where the Squad is controlling this area for four years to secure the largest desert, which is one-third of the size of Iraq, stretching from the desert of Ramadi to the desert of Najaf," pointing to the reinforcement of the troops with additional troops and reserves.

For his part, the commander of the Middle Euphrates operations' Lieutenant General Qais Khalaf Rahima: "The meeting today was important with the Squad that has a distinctive effort, as it deploys more than (5) thousand volunteers annually to inspect and organize the movement of visitors." “Today's meeting was for the purpose of coordinating and defining tasks between the operations' command, the al-Abbas's (p) Squad and the volunteers,” he said.
