To avoid severe congestion: The installation of a barrier to organize the movement of visitors of the Maqam of the Holy Hand of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

As part of the work entrusted to it within its plan during the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine installed a wooden barrier for the Maqam of the Holy Hand of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) located opposite the Gate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), because this place is subject to severe congestion, which leads to the lack of smooth flow of visitors.

The barrier was installed to separate women and men, and to ensure the smooth movement of visitors in their entry and exit.

The movement of visitors has started to be more organized since the installation of this barrier without the occurrence of congestion or scramble around the Maqam.

It is noteworthy that the staff working in the engineering maintenance department has started its preparations for receiving the Ziyarat Arba'een, which is expected to witness the influx of millions of visitors. Thus, in order to provide the best services to visitors, the department has developed an integrated plan for this purpose, including the establishment of barriers to organize the flow of visitors without congestion or suffocation.
