The Communication Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine: The electronic counting system for visitor counting works with high accuracy that will allow us to give close numbers to reality.

Eng. Firas Abbas Hamza, Head of the Communications Division of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, confirmed: "The electronic counting system for the counting of visitors arriving to Karbala to perform the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), has begun its work since the first days of the Ziyarat continuously day and night, ensuring accuracy and objectivity in calculating the number of visitors that will be very close to reality, through high-resolution cameras managed by specialized staff that follow modern methods that have helped to improve the work of this system."
He added: "After the success we have achieved in the past four years by giving the correct numbers of visitors in a precise way close to reality, we decided this season to preserve our previous achievement and work to develop and improve it technically and humanly, by covering all the axes leading to the holy province of Karbala, namely: Najaf, Hillah, Baghdad, al-Husayniyah and al-Hurr, which are taken by the vast majority of the visitors, in addition to those entering the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), whether visitors or condolence processions."
He stressed: "We get daily statistical data that we submit in the form of a report, to be collected and placed in a special database, and then announced in approximate form through the media at the end of the Ziyarat, as is the case in previous years."
