These were the important points stated in the second sermon of Friday prayer of the 19th Safar 1441 AH, corresponding to October 18, 2019, which was held in the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and led by his eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, in which he said:
My brothers and sisters, among the many benefits of this occasion; Ziyarat Arba'een, is a state of moral development and taking advantage of this special circumstance to improve and develop our capabilities, as when the right thinking is done according to a correct vision, it give good fruits. Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) was a man of a major reform project, as he said, “I haven’t arisen to seek evil, arrogance, corruption, or oppression, but I have done so to seek reform in the nation of my grandfather. I want to command people to do what is good and forbid them to do what is wrong. He who accepts me as they accept truth, God shall be their supporter, and he who rejects me, I shall remain patient until God judges between me and these people, with justice; and He is the best to judge.”
Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) achieved what he wanted despite the fact that there had been few supporters as well as the nation’s desertion, and that’s because he and those who were with him were aware of their cause. The Almighty Allah said in the Noble Quran, {Say this is my way; I invite to God with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is God; and I am not of those who associate others with Him.} As the insight indicates a profound comprehension as well as steadfastness, being aware of the consequences of matters, objectives, and purposes. And while we are soon going to bid farewell to this season of Arba'een, we hope that we were sincere with ourselves on being steadfast on the approach of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and that our souls are revived through the revival of these rituals, giving ourselves the right to meditate and seriously think in order to progress to the possible paths of perfections and being with al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
The sincere expression of loyalty and the accurate and deep understanding of the matter of the Master of the Martyrs (peace be upon him) will purify our hearts of falsehood, injustice, hatred and moral disadvantages.
May Allah protect all the visitors, and protect our country from all evil. May Allah bless everyone who contributed in the success of this Ziyarat in terms of security, services, medical assistance, and mourning processions.
And, the latest of our prayers is; praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and Prayers and Allah's Peace be upon Mohammad and his pure and virtuous lineage.
